Since its last exhibition on samurai in 2003, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria has received by donation four significant samurai suits of armour, helmets and a number of other samurai related paraphernalia. This exhibition will showcase these newly acquired works of art, a major new sword and a painting attributed to the greatest samurai general of all, Toyotomi Hideyoshi (1536-98).

PAX is a three-day game festival for tabletop, videogame, and PC gamers. We call it a festival because in addition to dedicated tournaments and freeplay areas we\'ve got nerdcore concerts, panel discussions, the weekend-long Omegathon event, and an exhibitor hall filled with booths displaying the latest from top game publishers and developers. Even with all this amazing content the best part of PAX is hanging out with other people who know their shit when it comes to games.

For the 33rd year, Victoria\'s Inner Harbour will host up to 100 beautifully restored classic sail and power boats from the Pacific Coast and from as far away as New Zealand to be judged by a highly respected panel of maritime experts. New festival activities have been developed to bring more people down to the Inner Harbour.

Since its last exhibition on samurai in 2003, the Art Gallery of Greater Victoria has received by donation four significant samurai suits of armour, helmets and a number of other samurai related paraphernalia. This exhibition will showcase these newly acquired works of art, a major new sword and a painting attributed to the greatest samurai general of all, Toyotomi Hideyoshi (1536-98).
