Teddy Bear Patrol

Warm 106.9 Teddy Bear Patrol donation bin in the Clipper Terminal

When you were a child, did you have a favorite stuffed animal that you reached for when you were going through a hard time? Each year, the Warm 106.9 Teddy Bear Patrol delivers more than 10,000 bears to hospitals, police, fire departments and other organizations where children might find themselves in a scary situation and a teddy bear would provide much needed comfort. Volunteers at the Providence Hospice & Home Care of Snohomish County decorate 100 of them especially for Camp Erin Everett. Children at the camp have lost a loved one and are given a decorated bear to comfort them.

From March 1-31, when you donate a bear at the Clipper Terminal, you will receive a coupon for a free meal onboard the Victoria Clipper! You will receive one meal coupon per bear. The coupon doesn’t expire and you don’t need a reservation to get the coupon, so help out a child in need and have a free meal on your next Victoria Clipper trip. We are accepting donations of teddy bears in new condition no larger than 12” from March 1-31. The Clipper Terminal is located at 2701 Alaskan Way, Pier 69 on the Seattle Waterfront and is open from 6:30am-8pm every day.

How often do you get a chance to see a Broadway play in Victoria, BC? The show is very limited with only 8 performances and is expected to sell out as soon as next month, so get your tickets soon! Read the rest of this entry »
